My name is Alex and I am from London, UK. I am a bar tender by profession. Due to my slightly stressful job, where client always comes first I decided to find myself a hobby, but not sure which one. I am quite interested in anything to do with handmade crafts. All the advice will be appreciated.

Hi Alex,
I understand what you mean; I worked in catering to support myself during my studies. It is a very hard job and there is not much time left for your hobbies.
I hope that some of HobbyThing members will help you to find something relaxing and not physically demanding.
When I was a teenager I did some cross-stitching. I'm thinking sometimes to go back to it.
Good luck with your search!

Hey Urszula,

Thanks for a prompt reply. It is a hard job, but someone has to do it. Its true there is no much time for your own life, but you have to find it as with anything in life. If you want anything done - just do it.

I look forward to for anyone to suggest anything. Would be great!

Alex

Hi Alex

You should try Stained Glass, it will grab you in no time. I only started a few months ago and have already sold two pieces for £90!!!!!!! It's really interesting and absorbing. A little costly to start with, but the rewards are already reaping benefits for me.
Best of luck with anything you have a go at.
