Hello, I believe that reasonable amount of anything is good. I try to stick to red wine as apparently is good for your heart, but I would not have more than one glass with my diner.
The same with a nice glass of brandy or whisky.

Hello all! Urszula, your last article on what to eat and what not to was really interesting. What about drinking? I mean wine, beer and sprits. Could you share your opinion on this, please?

'Thank you' to Dave for posting his comment about my article. I share his opinion about eating lots of fish - many essential oils. I am a big fun of Fish Oil; I know it is hard to believe but love the taste of it plus I know is good for me too.
By the way, did you know that intaking any of the fish oils, like cod liver oil etc; can be dangerous for your skin while taken during sunny months? Allegedly it can cause your skin to discolour while exposed to the sun.
At the end of the day we take it to make us more resistant to illness like flu so why would we take it during the summer anyway?

Yes I have an opinion. Animal fat or any of the hydrogenated fats included in margarine, or many processed foods (like your favourite: crisps, muffins, sweets and biscuits) can have an irreversible impact on our body causing cancer, diabetes, and heart diseases.
Have a look on my story:To Eat or Not to Eat? and you might find some more guidelines. In the meantime I recommend olive oil :)

Hello all,
One of my passions is cooking and recently I've tried cooking on duck's fat. Especially, I like the roast potatoes. Very tasty! However, I've heard that it's not really healthy and vegetable oil is a much better option. Does anyone have any opinions or comments on this?
