My favorite thing is to read, especially mysteries. I like other fiction stuff and true crime, also.
I haven't really started hand embroidery yet. I bought a stamped pillowcase, but can't find the instructions, so now I have to wait about 2 weeks to get them. My wrists/arms are injured (permanently) so this is going to go slowly. Same with crazy quilting. I am interested in the embroidering part of the CQ.
I recently lost one of my K9 kids, furry child, a dog on (5/5/08), a "rotterman", 1/2 rottie and 1/2 dobie, and am now down to one dobie (rd/tn) whereas I used to have THREE total!
Stormy is who I lost. Talk about unconditional love! I miss her so much it literally hurts! I bet other pet lovers know what I am talking about!
I live in Milpitas, CA, USA, with my (twin) sister. We both love dogs, cats, birds, etc. I used to have also one cat, and a canary. I miss 'em SO MUCH but right now health isn't so good, and cannot physically have that many pets!
My sister, Celeste, is into quilting, so hopefully we can combine her quilting with my CQ.
