I used to make cards, but I went to a craft fair and there was so many card stalls, I ended up watching a young girl making earrings, I asked if I could have a go, I had to get home and surf the web for beads, but i couldn't just buy a few, i had to buy hundreds, so people was asking me if I could make a necklace to match. so hence, bizzy-lizzies-gems was made. While surfing I noticed some Breast Cancer watches with the pink ribbon inside the face. As I sell my jewellery at local hospitals near where I live, if they minded if I raised funds for them by selling my breast cancer watches and giving them a donation, so, thats what happened.
The first year they had a cheque for £75, I asked Sue where does the money go to, and she mentioned that they put it into the Lizzy-Duncan-Fund, what doesn't get any funding from the government, so last year they got another cheque for £80., so far this year they have £15. 1 lady bought 2 as she liked the straps, which have all got Swarovski crystals, and I now donate £5 for every watch i sell, so please tell your friends and family have a look on my website as I update weekly.
